The East Coast Black Age of Comics Convention (ECBACC) has nominated the new IDW
M.A.S.K. comic series and writer Brandon Easton for their annual Glyph Comic Awards. These awards recognize the best in comics made by, for, and about people of color from the preceding calendar year. Winners will be announced at the 16th annual ECBACC which will be held at the TECH Freire Charter School in Philadelphia, PA on May 19-20 2017.
M.A.S.K. is nominated for Story of the Year and Best Male Character for Matt Trakker for the collective effort of writer
Brandon Easton and artists
Tony Vargas and
Tommy Lee Edwards. Brandon Easton is nominated for Writer of the Year.
M.A.S.K. is also nominated for the Fan Award for Best Work which is another team award for writer Brandon Easton and artists Tony Vargas and Tommy Lee Edwards. This award is determined by a fan vote on the ECBACC website so
