I came across a project of interest today while on Twitter today. While we wait for official word from Hasbro that 30th anniversary merchandise will be produced, we can take action to support a fan project that is currently active!
LEGO Ideas is the official site for builders to launch their own projects in the hope of gaining enough support to become an officially-produced product. LEGO will officially comment on the project at certain levels of the process on its way to the ultimate goal of 10,000 supporters. Some that have succeeded of note include the Ghostbusters Ecto-1, Back To The Future DeLorean Time Machine, Doctor Who and Wall-E. And now it's time to show our support for M.A.S.K. to join the world of LEGO!
LEGO Ideas user mc2k13 has submitted a ThunderHawk project that is worthy of our support. It's a great concept which appears to be similarly constructed to the aforementioned DeLorean set with gullwing doors (which I happen to own.) The mini-figure also captures the look of Matt Trakker.
Visit the
M.A.S.K. ThunderHawk Project on LEGO Ideas today for more pics and show your support! You'll need to sign up for a LEGO ID, but it's worth the time. We wish the project the best of luck and will keep our followers updated on its progress this year!

I like this idea, I really do, but I don't think it's a LEGO thing.
ReplyDeleteGiven the ownership of the brand, and the rumours that MASK may indeed be getting a resurgence in the next year or so, I can see something like this coming to the Kre-O brand. Fingers crossed... :)
Let's Hope So.
