The writing on this episode felt laaaaaaaazy. I gave it a 2.
ReplyDeleteA 2?! How did this episode get a 2 vote?! This is easily one of the best episodes of the series! The animation is absolutely beautiful and a joy to watch and it has plenty of action with a minimal of Scott and T-Bob. VENOM has a clearly identified goal, and one that makes a good deal of sense, since advanced military technology would go a long way in furthering their cause. VENOM is also presented as a large, competent terrorist organization with access to an impressive amount of cutting edge technology, reminiscent of Cobra in G.I. Joe, and this is very nice to see. Unfortunately this trend will not last as the series progresses, and also unfortunate is that this is the last time we see the VENOM troopers. One thing always has me perplexed though. How can Thunderhawk be so maneuverable when it is so aerodynamically unsound? Oh well, still a 5 episode.
