Script Update #5: M.A.S.K. DVD could be the push we need
M.A.S.K. movie fans,
Here is the latest from the two most enthusiastic M.A.S.K. fans on planet earth!
We are pleased to say that we have been in contact with a M.A.S.K. fan in the film industry across the pond. (The UK to be exact) He is looking to develop a potential M.A.S.K. project and really liked our script. We hope to follow up with him in the upcoming weeks and will definitely keep you posted should something develop.
WB and I are still actively sending inquiry letters as much as we can. I've said it before, we are not only trying to sell our script, but to raise awareness in general. I'm on the web everyday looking for potential supporters to join us in our cause. The results have shown in the past month! Views on the blog and likes on our Facebook page have really increased. Plus, as I tweeted today, we've past our previous record vote tally in our monthly poll featuring Bruce Sato. That's very encouraging and we appreciate all of your involvement in this journey! The journey continues and we will hopefully get a nice push beginning in August with Shout Factory's DVD release.
Personally, I've introduced my two boys (6 and 4 yrs old) to the show and my toy collection and look forward to watching all 65 episodes with them this year. I'm hopeful that same scenario will happen across the USA and will introduce a whole new generation to M.A.S.K. Plus, I believe there are alot of fans who watched the show as children that will remember how much they loved it, go purchase the DVD, and then find us here to help support bringing M.A.S.K. to the big screen!
In the meantime, we'll continue to use the DVD release as a springboard to gain support for the movie. We appreciate your support and ask everyone to share this blog and the Facebook page with your friends! The more support we have, the more we can brag in our pitch to the film industry!
